Christian Nationalism

There have been several events throughout America’s history that have been classified as revivals, and they all looked different and had a different effect on the land. But what does this word even mean? Where did it come from? What should it look like? That's what we want to explore for a bit today: what does a Biblical Revival actually look like?

Suddenly, we have pastors and congregants removing the mask and fully embracing a version of the gospel they claimed for years didn't even exist. I write this as an attempt to hopefully allow some to see the reality of the change they have made. We all need to stop for a moment and answer a question Jesus asked in Matthew 16, “Who do you say that I am?”

While countless empires and states have claimed to be a Christian nation, the reality is that Christian Nations simply cannot exist...

The call of God is to care for those that our government hates. The God who rescued His people out of oppression in a foreign land continues to care for those in similar situations. The heart of God cares about the immigrant in the land, regardless of the documents they carry. The heart of those who claim Christ should do the same. 

Let us see Jesus for Who He is, rather than the reward that awaits us. Let us be content to simply be remembered by Jesus...
