Ultimately, the goal of this piece is for us to begin to understand the danger and meaning behind the words we choose to use to describe Islam and Judaism within the world today. Because when we go about this out of ignorance, culture wars, patriotism, or some other faulty theological ideology, we not only cause harm to others, but potentially mock our own faith as well. 

Changing our perspective on how we view other people is not easy, but it is necessary. How do we begin to see people as Neighbors and Image Bearers, rather than enemies and villains? We allow the Spirit to renew our minds in accordance with the will of Christ. Because when we do that, suddenly we see people as Jesus does. 

The IMAGO DEI is not some doctrine to be debated about and disagreed on. The IMAGE of GOD is fundamental to Christocentric Theology.
