The Imago Dei is one of the most important concepts in Scripture. The idea that we are made in the Image of God is what gives us are worth and value and dignity. There are many theories as to what the Imago Dei actually is, however the important things to know are this:

All humans are Imago Dei. It is not gender or race-specific. It doesnt change with your socio-economic status or political affiliations or age. It cannot be taken away from you, and it is how you can be confident that your life matters and that there is a purpose.
